Hope Even After – A Different Story

Hope Even After CoverHope Even After releases today, February 17, 2026. I can’t begin to explain how excited I am for everyone to finally read Daisy and Luke’s story.

I love writing stories full of faith. Many of my stories (mostly the novellas) tend to stay on the lighter side of life. While my characters face obstacles and grow in their faith, the romance is usually front and center. But Hope Even After is a different story.

There is love. And the faith is strong in this one. But the story is romantic women’s fiction. While there is a love story mixed in, Daisy and Luke’s journeys are the focus of the story. They have to be. These two life-long friends are facing an issue we don’t see in the fairy tale love stories.

Luke is an alcoholic.

Friendship, faith, and love all look a bit different when seen through the lens of addiction. But like the title says, there is Hope Even After. And that is what I pray readers find in Daisy and Luke’s story. And maybe they’ll even see themselves on the page and come away with a greater sense of mercy and grace for those who struggle with addictions. Maybe believers everywhere will start acknowledging that addiction has been seated next to them in the pews all along and it’s time we talked about it and supported those dealing with addictions and recovery.

But while Hope Even After deals with a tough subject, don’t worry. There’s still a great story in the pages, faith being lived (imperfectly) in everyday life, and characters who feel like they could be your next door neighbor or newest friends.
