If you've already read You Write You, please consider leaving a review. Your thoughts are worth more than you know as I try to get the word out about You Write You. And your voice could influence a writer to purchase the book who needs to hear the encouragement inside the pages.

Today is National Mascot Day. Axolotls have unoffi Today is National Mascot Day. Axolotls have unofficially become my mascot. I take one (or more) with me when I travel, and post pictures of them in various spots.

I don't mind being associated with Axolotls. In fact, later this year (If all works according to plan) I'll be releasing God, the Axolotl, and Me, a middle grade, hands-on, science-based devotional.

Mascots do everything from helping us celebrate our favorite teams to recognizing our favorite products. So, this Trivia Tuesday, I've got a mascot question for you. I'll post the answer in the comments later tonight. So, drop your guess in the comments below.

As writers, our search histories could land us in As writers, our search histories could land us in a world of trouble. I've had to research the differences between dynamite and TnT and what it smells like after TnT explodes. And I'm a romance writer! I can't even imagine what suspense and mystery writers deal with.

So, what is the weirdest thing you've researched for a book? Or maybe the thing that could get you in the most trouble if people didn't know you are a writer?

I am not a fan of cherries, so it's German chocolate for me.

Sunday was Best Friends Day. So, I have a special Sunday was Best Friends Day. So, I have a special Trivia Tuesday for you and your bestie to play. Who do you think would get more answers correct, you or your bestie?

I'll be completely honest. I don't know that I could answer many of those questions for anyone but my husband, and I might even miss a couple for him!

While we're talking best friends, I'm getting closer to the release of Hope Even After. (not the real cover pictured). Daisy Taylor and Bekah North have been BFF's since, well, forever. But if one thing can tear apart their friendship, it's going to be Luke Masters. Just not the way you might think.

And because today is National Iced Tea Day, I figured I'd show you a close representation of the Communi-TEA Barn, where the owner, Daisy, will fix you up with an iced glass of your favorite flavor tea or Bekah will teach you a new crafting technique in the upstairs loft.
