I think we all face it sometimes. That feeling of I think we all face it sometimes. That feeling of being an imposter, not quite like we belong where we are.

But I don’t want to focus on the feeling. I want to rest in truth. Looking back, I can see how much God has grown me as a writer and as a person. It’s humbling and all glory goes to Him.

Wherever He leads and whatever His path for me looks like, that’s the road I want to stay on.

🍿Five of my favorite reading and writing snacks
🐼Five of my favorite animals (though you get a bonus with the emoji because I love pandas too!)
🎥Five of my favorite movies (you can learn a lot from a person’s favorite movies)

Breaks can be good, especially when well-planned like movement breaks and getting outside breaks.

But they can turn into procrastination and excuses to make ourselves feel better about not doing what we’re supposed to be doing.

Some of my distractions are ways to help recharge my creativity. Some help me unwind and reset. And as long as I don’t let them sideline me indefinitely, without boundaries, they can help me be my most creative and productive.

When you need a break, what activities do you turn to?
