My review will post soon, and I’ll share it. But for now, just wow. #christianfiction #christianromcom #christianfictionreaders
My first ACFW Conference is in the books! I'm late My first ACFW Conference is in the books! I'm late posting my memories. But I'll be honest, it isn't because I came home and got distracted. Photos of places and things, I would've shared the moment I got home.
But the people are what mattered most (even though the Peabody is amazingly beautiful). And people photos (when they include me) are sometimes hard to share. Not because of others, but because I don't like the way I look in photos.
So, I hesitated to post. But that's not right either. I met some amazing people and caught up with some amazing people I'd already known. I spent time with @amyranguish , Christian Author, one of my writing besties and wished her a happy birthday in person. I listened to some wonderful teachers and really cool author people like @diannmillsauthor , @Rachel, Rosanna White, @pepperbasham , and Bethany Turner.
For me the greatest takeaway was the laughter. I haven't laughed so often or so fully in a long time. I needed it. And God deserves the praise for a wonderful few days of writerly fellowship and connection.

Driving to a new place by myself used to freak me Driving to a new place by myself used to freak me out a little. Now (while I still don’t want to drive in St Louis or Chicago), I don’t get nearly as nervous driving hours away for a conference. In fact, I kind of enjoy spending the time in worship with a great playlist and prayer.

Which side or secondary characters have captured your attention?
